I started my journey in Product Design in 2017 after trying to create a mobile app for an electric heat treatment furnace. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, I was determined to find a solution that would make the process easier and more efficient.
Frustrated with the limited options available, I stumbled upon a series of YouTube videos that piqued my interest in product design.
I was fascinated by the process of taking an idea and turning it into a tangible product. I knew then and there that I wanted to be a part of this process and started learning the basics of product design and how to use design tools through online tutorials and videos. Despite having no prior experience in the field, I was determined to make my dream a reality.
As I continued to learn and develop my skills, I began to work on my own projects and quickly realized that I had a natural talent for design. My passion for problem-solving and my background in mechanical engineering gave me a unique perspective and allowed me to create innovative solutions.
It wasn't long before I started getting recognition for my work and was offered job opportunities in the field. I jumped at the chance and have since built a successful career in product design. Looking back, I never would have imagined that a chance encounter with some YouTube videos would lead me to where I am today. But I am grateful for the journey and excited to see where my passion for product design will take me next.
Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work on some of the most impactful projects across several industries, led the product design team of a growth-stage startup, and led design initiatives in cross-functional product teams. My experience cuts across B2B, B2C, and SaaS Enterprise Softwares.
In creating any product I always theme it a user-centered design (UCD). Which is an iterative design process where I focus on users and their needs in each phase of the design process via a variety of research and design techniques, to create a highly usable and accessible products for them. To achieve this I always go through the double diamond 4D’s of design process to deliver this project.
